Working with young people, I get asked strange questions sometimes about God's Word... But that doesn't mean I think they are bad, silly or stupid questions.

The dumbest questions asked are the ones folk keep to themselves - If you are uncertain about something concerning God, the Bible, salvation or sin just ASK!

Some in the church have, in the past, given the impression that being skeptical of the Bible or Jesus Christ is bad... While DYING a skeptic can be unhealthy for your "after-life", to question "WHY?" or "HOW?" is a GREAT thing!

Consider Nicodemus, who in John 3 through verses 1 through 21, questioned Jesus repeatedly! It even seems to be a bit SKEPTICAL... "How can a man be born when he is old?" "Can he go back into his mom's womb?" "How can these things you are telling me be true?" (Aaron's paraphrase)

Jesus over and over again answered Nicodemus' questions, giving him answers to his skeptical inquiries. Later in the book of John, you will see that Nicodemus has indeed been CONVERTED and is following Jesus Christ! (John 7:50 & John 19:39)

Do you have trouble believing the Bible? Ask questions. Do you not understand the Gospel? Inquire. To leave those issues alone and not ask, is to do YOURSELF a disservice! ASK!
