"Churching" the "Unchurched" will not save them.
Consider the conversation between Jesus and the woman at the Jacob's well from John 4:"Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.""Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship"Jesus is very blunt with her - You have no idea what you are worshipping. Sure the Samaritans may have been sincere and sure they were religious, but good intentions are no excuse for worshipping a false Jesus.Here's the point - the notion within our church circles today that "churching" people is what they need the most is ridiculous and full of poison. By "churching" people, hip church leaders think they are leading people to Christ, but what they are selling unregenerate souls is a fake Jesus.Their Jesus is a sweet accessory to go along with a carnal, self-indulged life."Churching" folk will not save them - Leave the saving AND the "churching" to Jesus. Let's be faithful to His Word and share the True Gospel of Christ!
