Romans 3: 10-11 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. I in my sin have no righteousness whatsoever. I had nothing to do with God. If it were up to me I would have continued to live in sin and would have enjoyed it. The same goes for you to. You think that you sought God out, you think that it was you that realized that you were a sinner. The Bible says in Romans 2:4 "that the goodness of God leadeth us to repentance." We are not righteous; we are not Holy. All we know is darkness. All we are good at is being sinners. That is why we need Christ, only His righteousness can change us. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. (Isa. 64) Oh the beauty of this scripture because if we didn't seek God out that only means that he sought us out. We should be shouting and praising Him right now because you who was dead in your sins it says in Ephesians, that he would even look on you, that He would die for you. Praise Jesus not just this day, but everyday what he has done for you. He has took the wrath of God for you PRAISE HIS NAME!!!  Amen!
