Romans 1: 16-17 says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."
Wow! Paul writes here to the church of Rome I'm not ashamed of the Gospel. Oh how little we take this scripture, we say were not ashamed, but how many people do you share the Gospel with on a daily basis? I'm ashamed at myself for not being bold with the Gospel! As children of Christ we are called to share the Gospel unto all nations.I really love verse seventeen. Paul says for THEREIN (the gospel) is the righteousness of God (Jesus Christ) revealed from faith to faith. People need the Gospel and the only way that people can believe is if they hear! What are you doing about the Gospel? This world is dying and going to Hell, don't preach a water downed gospel. Preach the TRUE Gospel.
If you read on in Romans chapter 1 you will see just how much we really need the Gospel. Fall in love with Jesus and preach what he preached over two thousand years ago, THE GOSPEL!!!
