Matthew 10:22 "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved".

What a powerful verse this is. This is what our New Year's resloution should be, to live for His name's sake. You know a lot of people will say they are going to be nicer, or eat better, or try to make a new goal for the upcoming year, but does this even matter. This year we need to be living for Him, and not ourselves. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:31 " Whether therefore ye eat or frink or whatsoever ye do, do it all to the glory of God". Amen! thats what we need to strive for. This verse is not only powerful but scary. At the beginning of the verse it says, "And ye shall be hated of all men." When we ask ourselves that question, does everyone hate us for who we serve, or what we stand for as Christians? Are we being persecuted for the sake of Jesus name? Time and time again we hear how persecution is coming, but let me tell you that it's already here! America hasn't seen it because we live in a country where Jesus is watered down and we think he can just be sprinkled over our lives when we want him. People want just enough Jesus to save them, but don't want him to be Lord. So, are you willing to take a stand for truth. It may cost you everhting materialistically, but let me tell you in return you get Jesus. Oh glory halelluiah, Praise God! Oh what a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see. I pray that you will fall in love with Jesus and live for His Name's Sake!
