    Thoughts from Craig - Serve!

    November 2, 2010
"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kidness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
    Titus 3:3-7

We have to realize where we once were before Christ found us. We were so low, even now as believers in Christ we are dirt, we're nothing... apart from Him! So, can you imagine how God saw us before we were made one of His children? We can't even compare ourselves to God because He is on His own scale. We can't even fathom the gloriousness and holiness of the Almighty.
Here is God, Who can't even look at sin and truley hates sin with a passion, and to think that He would send his ONLY son, Jesus, to die on a cross so that He might save the lost and be glorified!
Yes, we have eternal life through salvation, but ultimately we must understand that Christ died out of obedience to the Father. This pleased the Father. The Bible says that it pleased the Father to bruise Him (Jesus). So let's not rob God of our praise, let us pray to be obedient that we might please the Father.
Jesus gave his life for you, will you give your life to Him?
