Day in and day out we live live our lives with no meaning, " it's just another day", as most of us see it. Even what we call the normal Christian life we claim it as another day. Reading Acts chapter fifteen really makes you think what the normal Christian life is. In chapter fifteen of Acts the church has prayed and God has chosen two men to share the gospel to the Gentiles. Which was foreordained in the beginning of Acts with Peter. Here God has already chose Paul and Barnabas to go and preach the gospel unto the Gentiles. The bible says in verse fifteen, and it's talking about Paul and Barnabas. It says, "Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." It says they hazarded their or here in the text means they surrendered their life to Christ. Totally sold out for Jesus ready and willing to go preach the gospel wherever God lead them. There is so much more to life than just going to church and reading your Bible, which don't get me wrong you should be doing, but why leave it at that. Christ left the splendors of heaven, more importantly he left the heavenly Father to be born in a filthy manger and grew into a man who was to die on a rugged cross for your sins. Why wouldn't surrender our lives for the man who gave it all away for you. Christ told the disciples in Matthew 9:37 that the harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few. Surrender your for his name's sake. HE IS WORTH IT!!!
