Why is the Bible important? Wow... Well, there are many different answers as to WHY the Bible is important today's teenager, but I'd like to focus on one facet: DEALING WITH SIN.
Look, I'm not ignorant, I know that in "church culture" today, to even mention the word "sin" stirs up the multitude to begin to hurl accusations of being judgmental, etc. Here is the truth - Sin is very real. Sin must be dealt with. Sin will be punished.
All are born into sin and you (the reader) are no doubt very good at breaking God's rules - so how do you not transgress against the Almighty? Stay in His Word.
Psalm 119 is the largest chapter (Psalm) in the Bible and carries in it's theme the importance of the Word of God in your life. How do you keep from sinning against God? Eat the Word, love the Word, enjoy the Word and live the Word.
